Super All Wheel Control (S-WAC) is a short name for a number of different electronic and mechanical devices that work together to create the way the Evolution X responds to the driver.  It is no exaggeration to call this sytem unrivalled by any other in existence and it provides the latest Lancer Evolution X with the ability to build further upon the Evolutions already staggering dynamic reputation.
 
With the Lancer Evolution X safety is not something that's been added, it's been designed into the car at an almost molecular level.  The new Lancer Evolution X is one of the safest ultra-high performance cars ever made.  Like all Lancers, the new Evolution X is built around Mitsubishi's cutting edge RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) monocoque structure.  This massively strong assembly employs the strategic use of ultra high tensile steels never seen before in any previous Lancer Evolution model to ensure maximum crash protection from the front, side and rear.  As well as this structural strenght the all new Evolution X comes with seven airbags as standard.
